"Soft winds and gentle landings!"

Float silently in airy height over Levi's fantastically snow-covered winter landscape. Enjoy the clear air, absolute silence and the legendary panorama look over Levi's white mountaintops and the wide Fjäll landscape.

Driving with a balloon is one of the most beautiful adventures between heaven and earth.

After the interesting building up of the balloon you start with 3 to 4 guests for your "aviation".
Dress sportive comfortably and don't forget to bring along your camera.

During the journey we climb a height of up to 800 m and glide depending on strength of the wind with a speed of approx. 50 km/h of 1-2 hours over the lovely, peaceful landscape there.

Since we move with the wind it will be absolutely calm once being in the air and there won’t be any sounds except of the burner - no cars and no people below on the ground...

A common tradition among balloonists is to have a champagne toast upon landing for every passenger who drove with a balloon for the first time. He/she is baptised with champagne and fire (don’t be afraid, it only is a hair strand), gets a personal title of nobility and is awarded a certificate for remembrance.





Participation prerequisites:

Weather:
Since balloon riding is dependent on the weather, your pilot will inform you at short notice whether the journey can be carried out at the set date.

The journey must be delayed at gusts of wind, rain, snowfall or bad thermal lift.


Availability:
The best way is to buy tickets via E-Mail at the Levi Tourist Office or at the Arctic Safaris Office in Levi. But you also get tickets at "Zero Point" every morning from 10 am.

Clothes:
Due to the low temperatures you should wear at least ski-clothes and sturdy shoes.

Age and physical constitution:
For the participation in a balloonery you must at least be 12 years of age and reach a height of 1.20 m.
In case of heart circulation illnesses please speak with your doctor before. At an existing pregnancy it is to warn against a balloon ride.

The ride:
The ride takes about 1 – 1 ½ hours. Including building up and dismantling it will take you 3 to 4 hours before you are back “in town”. After dismounting the balloon you will be taken back to the starting area by our car.

Spectators:
Spectators are welcome at the start and finish places. During the trip is it possible to follow the accompanying teams by car in order to join the adventure in a different way.

Accomplishment:
Most of the balloon pilots are members of International Aeronautic companies.

Conditions:
The organisation preserves the right to cancel the ballooning at any time due to weather conditions. In this case the tickets can be used on another day or the money will be paid back at the reservation office.
